Hospice

“I worked with Denise for over a year and a half. I had just been hired to my first Hospice job and was nervous and excited about the new opportunity to serve as a Marketer representative. Denise was assigned to train me. I found Denise to be an amazing resource and a wealth of general hospice knowledge as well as specifically knowledgeable of the market in Bastrop and south Austin. I have witnessed Denise care for her patients and go above and beyond, not occasionally, but whenever possible, to the great benefit of multiple patients under our care.

While Denise is an intelligent, attractive, resourceful, honest and hark working chaplain who epitomizes the truest characteristics of the chaplain position, she is an equally competent and effective marketer and educator of hospice benefits and services.”

Mind Body Spirit

“As a life-long seeker of truth and the meaning of life, my path has crossed that of many who are on a similar path….however, there is only one who has taken me to another level of consciousness. Denise has a gentle and simple way of leading one to another level of “connectedness;” a level of “Oneness.” I cannot thank her enough for manifesting this renewal of spirit within me.

I have worked with psychics, “hands on” healing, meditation, and teachers of many esoteric realms. I have participated in sweat lodges, ropes courses, and the like, each one taking me a few more steps on my journey. This course offered by Denise has helped me make a giant leap forward on my path.

Through this class I have learned the importance of thoughts; I have learned about spiritual commitment. I have witnessed nothing short of miraculous “coincidences” and visions. I have become an artist in the true sense of channeling the Co-Creator within me.

So, how do I thank someone for doing all that – I will probably spend the rest of my life trying. It goes without saying that the class is worth its weight in gold if you are open and willing to receive the message. Denise Rodgers is a catalyst for enlightenment, one incredible messenger. I am so convinced of the value of this program that I am now going through Denise’s training program so that I can offer these teachings to others.”

I took the first 6-week Mind Body Spirit class from Denise Rodgers and it awakened my mind in places that I had forgotten. Having been interested in Metaphysical Science since a young man, this class clearly opened my eyes to the power and opportunities that I had not been able to take advantage of earlier in my life. Denise is a Master at teaching not only the background and understanding of our Mind, Body, and Spirit philosophy, her methodologies and professional qualities made this an entirely fun process!

Not only did I learn valuable information, but the exercises helped me navigate through my divorce, being civil and looking at the process logically as I accepted the inevitable. Through the class I was actually manifesting the outcome that was in my best interest, and it happened just exactly as asked for!

I further utilized my new found voice to help start the healing process with an illness I had been coping with for 10 years. I was able to manifest many of my desired attributes with love, forgiveness, and better understanding of universal truths. By having a better understanding of these universal truths I directed my attention to launch a new business venture.

Mind Body Spirit helped me realize the power that I possessed all this time but did not know I had or how to use. The experience of doing the mental/spiritual exercises until you get them down, and then being able to see the outcome of what can be manifested is outstanding and can be life altering in a good way!! The more you practice, the better YOU become. I would openly encourage anybody to take these classes and the opportunity to learn from a Master, Denise Rodgers.”

Nature Tourism

“I have known Denise Rodgers since 2004 during my ten year tenure as President of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce. We were both attending a community wide chamber meeting one evening. She really caught my attention because she asked a question of the group, “Why isn’t there anything going on on the River?” Her question was met with mostly silence.

If you look at the River today, you’ll see a huge change. There are lots of things going on down there, in good part as a result of Denise’s efforts through her business with Rising Phoenix Adventures, a kayaking company, her non-profit work with Environmental Stewardship and most importantly the grant monies she raised through Preserve American which benefited nature and rural community of Bastrop. That’s the way Denise operates. She sees a need, asks the right questions, and then sets out to make things happen. Primarily due to her efforts, the Lower Colorado River in Bastrop is truly on the map and draws thousands of people to Bastrop each year to recreate.”

“I have known and worked with Denise Rodgers in many capacities over the past ten years or so. I consider her to be a mentor and a friend and have always appreciated her many skills.

As an organizer and community liaison Denise has proven her skills many times. As an example, she recruited me to assist with NatureFest in 2007, which I thought would be a “sweet little event” until I realized that she had taken advantage of every resource available including Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Forest Service, Master Naturalist, and so many other organizations as well as hundreds of volunteers to make it an educational and recreational event that attracted thousands of participants and highlighted the Colorado River as one of the true gems of our community. It was during that first event, that the El Camino Real Paddling Trail was designated, due to the efforts of Denise Rodgers, Environmental Stewardship and Congressman Lloyd Doggett.

That program along with a second paddle trail and the Lost Pines Nature Trails along the river has become more important to our community over the years. This was especially true following the Bastrop Complex Fires when the State Park was not available for public use.

Following the fires, Denise was influential in recruiting attorneys and reaching out to fire victims to pursue redress. Many Bastrop area residents received compensation for their losses. Additionally, through the efforts of Bluebonnet Electric, attorneys representing the fire victims made a significant donation to the Bastrop Art Guild.

Accomplished in a variety of skills, Denise has the ability to write, obtain grants, teach classes, offer advice, organize and persuade. I believe she would be an asset to any organization and could be called upon to perform many duties.”
